Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada is an actress best known for playing Bo on The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was created at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk are the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and is a drama teacher in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories were of going to the play school as well as watching her mother do the work. Silk was a small model in a commercial. In 1997, she received an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. The early stage work she did included at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto in her quest to act and progress, and then moved after that, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first discovered at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. The couple was married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton with an Jewish wedding ceremony following Silk's changed her religion to Judaism. Silk had a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. In 2009 Silk was a part of the character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during production of the season three finale, and revealed this to viewers on the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk is involved in the production of Lost Girl since the third season finale episode was first conceived on the 6th of January, 2013, announced on Twitter her readiness to return on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. The character she played Bo together with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical in the show Lost Girl was named one of the most popular Television Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top TV Couple of the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk, as a result its popularity on social media has grown to a huge internet following.
